Medical Alerts are added under the Medical tab in the Patient Profile module .
They show along the bottom Status Bar, in the Alert History window, as well as pop up when scheduling or opening an appointment.
- Go to the Patient File Medical Tab.
- Click on the Ellipses “…” to select the codes.
- Click on the Alert Codes that you wish to add to the patient file.
- Click Save to preserve your changes.
Don’t forget to attend to the Pre-meds Required tick box as well as the Last Update field. The former provides a bold-red notification that the patient requires pre-medication while the latter should be a part of every patient health history update at the start of each appointment.
