Once planned treatment has been posted to a patient file, it can be linked to a planned appointment to help streamline communication between the Clinical and Administrative teams:
- Highlight all the Planned treatments you would like to link to an appointment within the Description box (hold down the Control key while left clicking to multi-select).
- Right click on the selections and select New Appointment.
- Choose the Appt. Code from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the appointment details under Procedure.
- Ensure the Units of time are accurate and change if needed.
- Check that the Status is P for Planned.
- Click Ok to save.
The appointment will now show as a planned line in the patient’s scheduler profile. Administrators can then book the appointment from there, with all the treatment and unit details filled in for them by the Clinical staff.
