The statuses of proposals can be changed to accurately reflect the patient’s decisions. These statuses can be managed by clinical staff or reception. There are four statuses: New, In Review, Declined and Accepted. Proposals that are New or In Review will show in the proposal section. Proposals that have been Accepted or Declined are technically no longer “proposals” and will therefore not appear in the Proposal section of the Odontogram. They can be viewed in the Proposal History, an option in the right click menu.
- New – Has been added but not reviewed with patient. Text is black.
- In Review – Presented but no decision has been made. The patient should have all the information available to them. The proposal will remain as is but the text turns blue.
- Declined – The proposal will be removed from the Proposals tab and the proposed claim shows in red under the Proposal History.
- Accepted – The proposal will change into a Planned Treatment, and is moved into the Treatments tab. A copy of the accepted proposal shows under the Proposal History in green.
