Reset a Claims EDI Status

This feature will remove the EDI claim status in Power Practice so you can resubmit the claim. In some cases you may need to contact the insurance company and have them correct the status in their system as well.

Clients on an older version can follow the Invalid EDI Status Message article to reset the claims EDI status.


  1. With a patient active, select the transactions module icon.
  2. Then navigate to the Treatments tab.
  3. Right click the Treatment(s) you need to reset the EDI status of
  4. Select Reset EDI status form the menu.
