How to Enter a Pontic on the Odontogram

Description

This article will guide you through the steps of entering a pontic on the Odontogram. To post a bridge, please check out the linked article: How to Enter a Bridge

Step-by-Step

  1. Select Patient from the top menu bar
  2. Click on Odontogram from the dropdown
  1. Select your site(s)
  2. Click the Set Conditions for Selected Tooth icon
  1. Find the Missing box under Others and click to select
  2. In addition, hit the Accept button to close the window
  1. As a result, a Red M for Missing will now be posted on the Odontogram. Re-select the site number to begin posting for a pontic
  2. Hover to discover to find your Fixed Prosthetics shortcut
  1. Select your code
  1. Confirm in the Procedure Code Tree
  2. Make sure you have the correct Producer
  1. Right click and choose one of the following: Pre-Existing/Planned/Incomplete/Complete OR you can also choose from the icons highlighted
  1. The pontic is now posted in the Treatments Tab below and on the Odontogram
