Sending Notifications for Appointment status Changes

Description

In this article we will detail the use of Custom Appointment statuses and how to enable the associated notifications.

Step-by-Step

Sending notifications on status change:

  1. Visit the Appointment Book/Scheduler module.
  2. Select the Settings icon at the top right (paper and pencil icon).
  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select More at the top right.
  1. Tick the Send Message on Change box.
  2. Select the users you wish to receive status change updates via their Communicator.
  3. You can choose to send it to all users by enabling the Send to All option.
  4. Users can also choose to Auto Display Messages Received to automatically present a pop-up on status change.

Using the updated Communicator view, your notification will look like this.

Using the classic Communicator view, your notification will look like this image instead.
