Set a Procedure Code as Inactive

Description

This article will guide you though setting a procedure code as inactive so it can no longer be used.

This article applies to version 5.0 +

Step-by-Step

  1. Select Practice from the top menu bar.
  2. Then select Maintenance Manager from the drop down menu.
  1. Navigate to the Insurance tab.
  2. Then select the Procedure Codes icon.
  1. Using the criteria filed, search for the procedure code you’d like to set as inactive.
  2. Once found, double click the procedure code to open the edit window.
  1. Place a check-mark in the Inactive? field found in the lower left corner of the edit window.
  2. Select the OK button to save.
