Email or Print Estimates for Planned Treatments

Description

An estimate for the treatment planned procedures may be required for many reasons. Therefore, it is part of the Checkout process and can also be re-printed or emailed if necessary.

This article focuses on printing and emailing the estimates for posted procedures. To learn how to enter the planned treatments, please refer to the Additional Resources linked at the bottom of the article.

Step-by-Step

  1. Go to the Transaction screen.
  2. Click the Treatment tab.
  3. Select the Planned/Incomplete tab.
  1. Right click on the claim to print or email the estimate for.
  2. Select Print Estimate or Email Estimate.

To print the estimate

  1. Confirm the Estimate Letter defaults.
    For a more polished look, try different formats, customize the Title, and add default comments to your estimate.
  2. Press OK to print.

To email the estimate

  1. Confirm the Estimate Letter defaults.
    For a more polished look, customize the Title and add default comments to your estimate.
  2. Click Email Body to edit the email message and check Email as PDF.
  3. Press OK.
  1. Power Practice will create a new email with Microsoft Outlook with the estimate attached as a PDF.
  2. Make any final changes and press Send.
